Five Persian Miniatures

Five Persian Miniatures is a collection of five short and exquisitely beautiful pieces by Serbian-American composer Dušan Bogdanović. Inspired by traditional Persian music and miniature painting, these pieces push the boundaries of classical guitar technique to showcase Persian musical modes, complex rhythmic patterns, and delicate ornaments. This collection comes with a fascinating performance by prominent Iranian guitarist Golfam Khayam.
