Phyllis' Portrait

"Phyllis' Portrait" is a very entertaining composition by prominent Brazilian guitarist and composer Sérgio Assad. It is one of the several "portrait" pieces that Sérgio has composed throughout the years, and this one is dedicated to Phyllis Bolton, a major supporter of the guitar program at the University of Arizona. "Phyllis' Portrait" takes the listener to a very engaging journey through several contrasting sections inspired by different genres of American popular music.
