Per-Olov Kindgren

Per-Olov Kindgren (born 1956) is a Swedish classical guitarist, composer, and music teacher known for his versatile playing, ranging from Bach to The Beatles. Born in Bogotá, Colombia, and raised in Sweden and Denmark, he developed an early passion for music and classical guitar. He studied at The Royal Danish Academy of Music and became a music teacher, a role he has held for over 30 years. Kindgren formed the Nordic Guitar Quartet in 1979 and has composed numerous works for guitar, including pieces for solo guitar, ensembles, and orchestras. His musical style blends classical with influences from jazz, blues, and easy listening.
