Born in 1997, Nícolas Porto Silva is a Brazilian classical guitarist who works as a soloist, chamber musician, and teacher. He is currently studying at the Federal University of Goiás with professor Eduardo Meirinhos. He started his studies with his father when he was seven years old. Because he started to stand out as a talented guitar player, while he was very young, he was invited to perform in many TV shows, which gave him the opportunity to perform many concerts around the country. Receiving guidance from Fabio Zanon, he has won several prestigious national competitions and founded the BCGC - Brazilian Classical Guitar Community, where he is also one of the coordinators. As a teacher, he works mainly with young musicians who want to enter the academic life, giving them a first step to follow their musical path.
