Alice Brandão was born in 2000 in Barcelos, Portugal. At the age of 10, she started her classical guitar studies with Rui Gama and 5 years later, in 2015, she was admitted to the Conservatório de Música Calouste Gulbenkian. In 2018, she joined Dušan Bogdanović's class at the Haute École de Musique de Genève, where she currently studies with Judicael Perroy. She has participated in several festivals, has been an invited soloist during the 1st edition of the Festival en Alpes in Chambèry, France in 2019, and has won around 10 prizes in several guitar competitions since 2014.
