Agustín Luna

Born in 1981 in the city of La Plata, Argentina, Agustín Luna began to study guitar with Marcelo Iglesias and Julio Azcano, and continued his training at the “Luis Gianneo” Provincial Conservatory of Music in Mar del Plata with professor Silvia Castro. At 18 years old, Luna earned the Revelation award at the Baradero 2000 Festival in Argentina. Since then, he has performed frequently at the Guitarras del Mundo Festival. Agustín continued his academic training at la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, earning his degree as a Music Teacher with a guitar orientation, and moved to Florence to study with maestro Edoardo Catemario. Since then, he has toured Spain, Italy, the United States, Brazil, and Uruguay, and has released two albums with some collaborations.
